What about the Alpine amps?? And I also forgot to mention I got a Pioneer HU.

From reading up on passive and active I would say I'm using passive x-overs. I have an Alpine F250 running 2 6x9's and 2 6.5's and an Alpine M500 running a single 12" Type R. Does it hurt to set both the HU and amp x-overs on the same frequency or is that just overkill?

I tried a search on this but came up short so I'll ask yall. Is it better to use the x-over on the HU or the amps. I always thought it was better using the amps but I was told that the HU is more accurate due to it being digital. What do yall think?

you think the Alpine 1000 watt mono would suffice?? I thought factory specs for the type r was .75-1.75 for a ported?? And I just went with the 4 gauge cuz I don't plan on keeping my vehicle that I'm gonna install it in for long. Thanx for the help!
