    I actually don't want to deaden too much. I've done this in previous cars and deadened the hell out of the door, but i really don't want the added weight on this car. So I will do as little deadening as I can to get them sounding good. Just can't add 20 or 30lb to my doors again

    The JL components say they're rated at something like 25 to 175 watts RMS. They don't give a real good rating on exactly how much watts they're rated, like one single number at which they should be powered. I'm guessing the Pioneer amp is likely putting out 50 or higher watts in reality. The...
