My pioneer GM-9601 just died... and I had just dropped in a pair of Pioneer TS-W311S4 subs running the amp at 2ohm. my question, would dropping in an Alpine MRX-M110 amp be too much for the Pioneers? The subs each are rated 400W RMS / 1,400W Peak The amp is rated at 1100W RMS / 1900W Max...

Bump... I would like to know of a good "dependable" brand (subs and amp) to go with and have at least the same power/sound I had before... Been out of the audio thing for a long while, and am hoping one of the gurus here can point me in the right direction. Not that I would not want JL Audio...

Before the blown 12, it hit decently hard... moreso in the car, it sounded really good. I want to keep 2 12s (sealed box), but since I likely have to replace the amp too and would rather run matching subs.. I am not sure JL w0s are worth the price versus others... and would like to find an amp...
