I say elemental designs 9.5 also, I have one and its pretty nice. you can find them practically new for $300-$350.It has plenty of power to push any mids, and it will do 600w at 1ohm on the sub channel

Im not sure if it was broken or I hooked it up wrong? plugged it in and heard no sound,then smelled a wierd smell, took apart the amp and now I see two burt up fets and 1 burnt up resistor. what does npn/pnp mean? should I just change the two? or four now? are there any amp repair web sites?

well I purchased a non working LANZAR opti160 4ch amp(was told it was working) I opened it up and took it halfway aapart and found a burt up mosfet and bnurnt resistor. My question is can I just put in any IRFZ40 mosfet?Do I have to change the whole line of them?,an how do I know what...

my friend has an Lanzar encore amp and I had never heard of the encore series so im trying to figure when they came out.

I guess I didnt get that great of a deal beacause the 4ch doesnt work:confused: on a better note I hooked up my opti50 to my 13ov.2 4 and it pushed it pretty good, the amp was maxed out. I then tried my opti100, and **** that thing barely turned up was slammin that woofer hard!

NINE.5 is 1ohm stable 600w to the sub, bandpass crossovers 4X100@ 4ohm +250@4ohms 4X175@2ohms +450@2ohms +600@1ohm those specs are at 12.5v and 0.05 % THD, so you should see a little more than that. I have been using this amp for about a month and all I can say is that its a nice amp...

its not that exact one its the same era though. but i got an opti 100 looks like the one you posted(not 100q though) and opti160 4ch and 3 lanzar 10"s for $160 of some girl.

I just picked up an old blueish grey lanzar opti 160 and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this amp. I know nothing about 4 channel lanzars

I bought one ....I am fuggin impressed, the crossovers allow you to go active..OMG sytstem sounds so good. I also bought a 13kv.2 ED's entry level woofer they had on clearance and it bumps hard!! Its way louder than I intended on.

why does everyone on this site always hate on ed? NINE.5 is a GREAT 5 channel solution, but I also wouldnt trade one for the other.
