Is a 4 gauge kit enough for an Audiobahn A2300 HCT?? It really is an extremely powerful amp, even though I realize most of you do NOT like audiobahn....you have to give that amp credit for what it can do. It's not in my car right now but I just don't know if a 4 guage is bad to run it with...

Well, I actually spent $475 on the amp + shipping, the speakers which are really good by the way, (better than you think) were 450 with 4 year warranty, the fiberglass crap is extremely thick, and the box is made of leather, except for the inside its some soft stuff, but it is a very nice box...

The amp still comes on tho....its just when the amp is grounded.....then when i hook the subs up i get that sound now.... but when i take the subs out to test grounds...even when the cars off...sparks fly when i first touch the metal

I have audiobahns also, best ones circuit city had, not sure of the model number, but they are 800 watts RMS and i think 2800 peak for each sub, I couldnt find any subs that were around the continuous power for the amp so I had to stick with those. So do you think a reason that it stopped...
