Like I said, it makes no sense. I've definitely done my share of electrical work. I tested it with a lipo battery from my Rc stuff, so I know it was getting enough voltage.
Took the back off and the fuses definitely aren't fake. Pulled the fuses out then check the fuse terminals for power, they test @ 14.4v. Triple checked the fuses and they test good, reinstall them and get no voltage reading ( definitely making contact) and amp functions normally except for the...
All that's been done. Thought maybe my leads were bad. Like I said, the amp functions normally, just not sure what to think about these fuses. Also checked them with a Continuity tester, there good.
So I've ran into something weird on my amp. It has 2 70a fuses that have no voltage to them ( checked with DVM & Test light) but amp functions as it should! Wth am I missing here? Hifonics BRX1516.1D
Should the 1200w do ok in a stock ASTRO van? Big 3 is already done, stock alternator. I think the 3000 would be overkill on my basically stock electrical system.
There already wired for 2ohm, wouldn't know how to wire them any lower and don't they can be. Thx for your help it's much appreciated. There currently on a Hi-fonics 1500 2ch, which I'm starting to have some issues with but it's had a good 7yr life.
