Your car has the Delco version of what I think is the same alternator. I think it will fit. Its the Amputator Series.

You can take it to an alternator shop and have them try and test it. They will need to spin it at 6000 rotor rpm which is 2000 on a car and have enough load to max it out.

They used a different style alternator in the 03 model but the mounting may be the same. Not sure tho.
