I don't have the amp bridged I have it in 2 channel mode, and also I tried about three different grounds and it still went into protect mode.

I just got a brand new alpine mrv-t420 amp, hooked in all up to 2 12 pioneers, it worked fine for a day or so and now when i turn the volume up the amp will go in protect mode. The gain and bass boost are all turned down, all the connections are good. Could it be something with my alternator...
