Thats what I thought, is there a specific kit i would need for a 5 channel amp? i have no idea what to order but I want to make sure i get the right stuff with everything the shop needs to do the install. Also does it matter what kind of vehicle I have (ford f150)

I'm having a single 10" alpine dual ohm 500 watt rms sub installed with a 5 channel amp (rms 630-840) and the place i called said it would cost 60-100 for a wiring kit. Can I buy a good wiring kit online with everything I need cheaper than that?
