I hooked my HU up with a wire harness, and just added the remote wire to the two remote wires coming from the headunit and the harness. Not sure how the factory amp is hooked up, I'll have to look into that in the morning and get back to you.

My ground seems tight, I drilled into the metal that was holding the factory sub. It was just the closest and easily accessible since I already had it open. Maybe I should change it and see what happens.

ok so just picked up 2 Kicker CompVR 07CVR124 12" subwoofer with dual 4-ohm voice coils and this amp (per suggestion from this forum ). MB Quart DSC 1000.1 so i guess my question is should i run it 4ohm load or 1ohm load?
