I have a JL amp and the manual says that with a 50hz sine wave the target voltage should be around 35. My question is, should I just set my line-driver to put out that voltage and then just leave the amp gain at 0? What the proper procedure for this?

Thanks for the confirmation. I ordered it and I hope it makes a big difference. I spent the loot on the W6 so I want to actually enjoy what it can offer.

Unfortunately, I cannot replace the head unit in my Mazda 3 because it is a touchscreen interface with navigation/etc built-in. I have a good subwoofer/amp setup (W6 and XD600/1) but using a line-out converter just doesn't give me the clean sound I want. Are there any type of aftermarket EQ's...
