my x682 (previous version) just died yesterday, kenwood has treated me good so i picked up the mp245. Although it is newer, it does not have all the features the x682/692 in terms of audio control. just thought i'd poke my head in and give mah approval.

yuhhhhh, i installed it and all... very stable little amp, doesn't get hot and stays cool in this hot *** weather. going to run it at 1000 rms @ 1 ohm daily on a RE SXx 15. not bad, especially for it's price. Makes me feel a lot better about the purchase (for now).

yuh, I know, jus was wondering if they really throw out 1200 rms as advertised rather than 1000 rms

Now, the website and everywhere I look says this shit can push out 1200 RMS/750 RMS/500 RMS (1/2/4 respectively). BUT, when I received it the manual and the box ITSELF says 1000 RMS/700 RMS/400 RMS. Is this US Amps back to their false advertising and just boasting the peak numbers? Not THAT...
