12v on remote cable but amplifier not turning on (checked everything)

Thanks for the reply but that doesn't seem to be the problem because the volume was so low, but it was just an ugly sound but just on a very low volume when the bass in a song kicks in.

12v on remote cable but amplifier not turning on (checked everything)

Because I had some free time today I worked on it. Thanks so far for all the replies guys What I did today is connect the 12V slot to the remote slot so that the light turned green on the amp, nothing wrong so far and I figured that out before. Now I figured out that the remote wire must be...

12v on remote cable but amplifier not turning on (checked everything)

Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. The wire is definitely making contact in the terminal, that's not the problem. Is it possible something's broking inside the amplifier? The only thing the remote does is give the amplifier an electric signal that it must get to work right?

Dear Caraudio, Today I was trying to install my subwoofer again as I had it out of my car for a some 5 months. It always worked perfectly fine and I can't get the remote cable/slot to get it to work BUT there is 12v on the cable, I'll explain how. Because I had it worked before all my cables...
