do i need to upgrade my alternator

Are you currently experiencing any problems with your system?? 70 amps is low, but not an issue if your stereo plays satisfactorily. If you are experiencing issues, then an upgraded alternator is a good idea.

    What Did You Buy Today?

I was walking through Sam's Club recently and saw a 98-inch TV. WOW, it was huge. That's too much TV for me, as I don't watch it as much now. However, there was a time!!!!!

    Amplifier Cooling Fans.

I'm not sure if the fans help, but I got bored and needed a project. They are located on opposite ends of my amplifier rack. I wired them to a thermostatically controlled switch that triggers a relay at the programmed temperature. The fans are wired to a switch that controls their individual speed.

    Car subwoofer

WELCOME TO THE SITE. I HAVE MINE MOUNTED IN THE TRUNK WITH A DEDICATED AMPLIFIER, AND THE SOUND COMES INTO THE CABIN OKAY. MINE IS IN A SEALED ENCLOSURE. GOOD LUCK. I added photos of my setup. I gave up my trunk space because my rear seats fold inward for storage and transport if needed.

    Amp installation

I would definitely look for the harness. Try crutchfield.com support. Also, look for the wiring diagram for your vehicle. My service manual has excellent color-coded wiring diagrams. If I did have to tap wires, I wouldn't splice/cut any. Instead, use a T-Tap or similar connector. Good luck.

    need help with install

I recommend watching lots of videos and reading car stereo installation books. You can purchase online or visit your local library. Some of the sites that sell equipment also have recommendations and videos. I used crutchfield.com a lot and purchased some books from used books sites. Good luck.
