I know I can just enter the distance for all speakers into the HU, but I found out by playing with the distance can widen the sound stage and other weird stuff! So is there any guidelines as far as setting up time alignment? Much appreciate your help.

I had to do a firmware update on my 8120 and now I got locked out as I couldn't remember what the code was when I first set up the HU. I have the box and receipt for proof of purchase. Does the unit have to go back to Kenwood for resetting the code? Thanks.

I've just burned a few mp3 CDs and I have embedded a file "folder.jpg" for each artist folder. However, the jacket picture doesn't show up on the display. Do I need to do something special for it to work? Thanks for your help.

Well, I just got the 980BT about 2 weeks ago, ran the auto EQ and thought the sound was pretty good except for the bass. It took out the bass completely I did find out though, turning on the BBE effect made a big difference in a good way. I thought mine was turned off, but I didn't realize...
