I just got the Alpine SPX-13REFs off Amazon for $180 and they sound amazing. I'm very pleased with them.

Looking at both of these for my front stage. Crutchfield has the 13REF at $350, the 13PRO at $600. I can get the 13REF new for $180 off Amazon or the 13PRO new for $320 off another site. A new MRP-F600 Alpine 4 channel amp is going to provide the power. Is the PRO going to be worth the money...

Did you ever decide on an amp? I just purchased these same speakers and I was thinking of getting the Alpine MRP-F300 or the Alpine MRP-F600. I know the speakers are rated at 60 watts RMS but I was told they could handle 100 watts RMS if they were tuned correctly.
