    If your mainly concerned about the sound quality of the unit i would choose the eclipse. It has more controls for adjusting the sound.

    Ya i agree take it back to the installer. But you shouldn't need a hack to get rid of the bings since your unit should have came with firmware 3.0 installed. Just go to settings nav settings and disable the key beep.

    Where do you guys mount your GPS antenna in your vehicle? Need feedback!

    I have a pioneer premier avic f90bt so the same thing you have OP. I placed my antenna on the small metal sheet on top of my rear deck all the way to the drivers side to be as unnoticeable as possible have never had a problem with signal strength it has never even been week. Works perfect their.
