they made it right. they switched out the 1000/1s for RF 1500-1s and it made ALL the difference. they redid the whole box, did 2 out of the big 3, no new alternator or any other electrical upgrades. the thing looks AWESOME and sounds AWESOME, hit 145 dB. ill throw up pictures in a little bit!!!

i havent payed them yet and they were really embarrassed when it popped the circuit breaker in their parking lot today.

can i buy the alternator online?? what do you recommend for what i'm running??

yeah, i bought the capacitor. i put the yellow top under the hood with 1/0 wire running to the amps.

so i go to pick up the car today..... i go outside to check it out and it looks AWESOME!!! i would post up some pics but literally 20 seconds after i started listening to it, the whole system shorted out..... like it blew the circuit breaker or something, and when it was on it didnt really bang...

i'm getting a yellow top optima battery for under the hood.

they are charging me 500 for the w7 and 700 for the 1000/1, matching what i paid online for my first set. i don't mind spending a little extra on the other end. i want a high quality install with high quality components. i don't have enough time to learn how to build my own box and all that...

i want the best of both worlds..... the shop is really pushing for this cap though.... are there any advantages to having one??? i know they are pretty much universally despised on here, but would it really be the same as throwing money in the trash can???

if i tell the shop to do the big 3 instead of the cap will they know what that means??
