Theres one on my Metra harness and theres one on my after market HU and I can wire them together but theres no pin in the factory harness slot

I have a 2000 GMC Sierra extended cab . I will have a aftermarket HU. There is no factory amp. I will have my own. My wires is all hooked on my Metra and radio harness but what about the remote amp turn on wire? What do I need to wire it to? Accessory? Or Would this already be taken care of...

Also, if I choose a sealed box, would u choose forward or downward firing? How about the specifics? Would it be just as important to get the box custom built for the subs or how about a prefab that will be closely matched to my subs cuft and tuning hz? I guess what I'm saying is a sealed box...

Ok, now I'm in learning mode lol. Let me ask these questions please. 1) If any subs would choke in that box, then what would keep them from choking in a sealed box with no ventilation? 2) How big should the port be and should it be a labyrinth design port? 3) There are NO prefabricated boxes...

I presented the model # of the box. The specs are.within its description. As for the cubic feet, the box is a match for the subs. As for the way they fire, I have NOT found a forward firing box for my truck that isnt ported. I dont think there is one prefabbed. Ok, so let's fast forward, specs...

2000 sierra ext cab dual 12" downfiring under back bench seat. Where is a good place to mount the amp? How much ventilation does it need? Also, is there any particular type of screes you used to mount the subs to the box. Im assuming it not just wood screws

Sorry about the random talking. What do u mean by paralleling them? How does that wiring go? How does paralleling 2 4ohm speakers make 1 ohm? So yoire saying that you'd wire both speakers together and hook them to a monoblock 3000 watt amp? So would that mean each speaker would be 1500 watts each?
