Theres one on my Metra harness and theres one on my after market HU and I can wire them together but theres no pin in the factory harness slot

2000 sierra ext cab dual 12" downfiring under back bench seat. Where is a good place to mount the amp? How much ventilation does it need? Also, is there any particular type of screes you used to mount the subs to the box. Im assuming it not just wood screws
