this is true, the only reason to go ported is if your not satisfied with the loudness of it sealed. I run a 12" v3 Mag in a box at 30 hz and its loud and spot on accurate.. sealed would be even tighter bass, but i still like the loudness factor of the ported... also look into some Image...

nice choice my new daily is a 12" V3 mag on the exact same amp... im at 30 hz though helluva good price GLWS!

Stereo Integrity Mag... V3 if your looking for ported and a little louder, V4 if you are gonna go sealed
