yup, an IDQ gets nice and low, although i wish it could be abit louder. nonetheless blends nicely so i guess its doing its job as a SQ sub.

its tuned to 30hz. i cant remember the actual length, but its fairly long. i had to use a PVC elbow to get it to the right length and make it fit in the box.

Box is 1.5cubes tuned to 30hz. Comments/feeback appreciated.

i have my IDQ12 in 1.5cubes tuned to 30hz, but still waiting on my amp to test it out, so cant say much now. I did however connect the sub to my yamaha receiver and for about 100RMS it got really low and fairly loud.

i didnt get a chance to check my ground today, planning to look at it tomorrow. but ive heard there is a way to check the ground using a DMM. maybe another user can shed light on it. once i check over and find/fix the problem, ill will let you know what it was.

thats weird, cuz i have the exact same problem. after doing my install on tues, the amp turned on for 5 seconds then turned off, checked the inline fuse and it blew. so i went and bought some more fuses. put in another one and as soon as i start the car it would blow again. another user on the...

hmm, im going to run another power wire outside the car to test it out and be sure there isnt a short anywhere in the powerline. i guess if it still blows then its a faulty amp? thx for the help.

I installed my US Amps IS2200 today and ran into a problem. I am using 8awg wire temporarily and used only one channel on the amp at 4ohms. The amps rated output at 4ohms on one channel is 200RMS, so 8awg should be good enough. The fuse on the amp are 3x30 so 90 in total. However, the fuse at...
