Anyone else blown a PG RSD tweeter? Finally had a chance to hook up my new Eclipse 8455 and run active and the tweeter did not want to cooperate. It tests open with a VOM, Anyone have any issues with their tweeters? They are driven by 75watts RMS. Warranty is cool but I hope this is not common.

Has anyone else experienced an intermittent LCD screen on this model? I hooked up my new unit and it worked fine. I went in to get some test CD's and came back out and when I started the car it took 5 minutes before the screen illuminated. It happened again this morning but did not happen the...

Thanks for taking the time to respond. If everything goes right I will have either a CD8053 or CD8455 in the next few days. I have a 8053 for $300 BNIB and also a used 8455 for $250 with 1 year left on the original warranty on the table right now.......... Choices:confused:

What does the balanced line adapter do? I'm assuming it allows you to run active judging from your signature. Is there any warranty left on the unit?
