BUMP.. anyone thinking of something im not? Anyone know if there are any fuses inside the faceplate or HU that could be the cause?

thanks stl_314 for input so far. looks like ill be taking HU out 2marr and testing on a battery alone to see if i will power up. The HU is also still able to turn on my amps via remote wire. it seems like the **** thing wont power on. i just cant understand what could have happen to cause this.

Not that im aware of. There shouldnt have been any reason to so i highly doubt it. but thats a question ill make shur and ask. would the power button light up if the unit was blown?

thanks for the quick reply.. the box is in a storage building about an hour away from my location if i cant get anywhere ill get sum pictures up..

iv looked all over the net with no luck.. The box is just a regular sealed box but has a Superman logo(like the upside down triangle logo) on the top of the enclosure in the upper right hand corner(it is around 4-5in square).. there's something inside the logo, i wont to say "SS" but dont hold...

One more ?....i was messing around 2day and decided 2 hook my subs up to the unused channels on my kicker zx350.4.. But in the process while pluging in my subs I touched the positive and negitive wires together (while car was running) amp went in2 protect mode 4 few sec. And then came back...

Alright well I tryed what was sujested and everything was a no go.... Rechecked all wires, smelled the amp(didnt smell fried), hooked subs to another amp and they worked.. So I guess amp just shot??? Any other suggstions?
