Somewhat, here's what I was figuring, the port surface area for a 3x3x9 port is 108 square inches, therefore, couldn't I make a port that has the same surface area, but instead of a square port, have a wider, thinner port. J.D.

Ok, heres my question, say I have a port that needs to be 3x3 and 9 inches long. I want a port that is about longer, say the height of the box, maybe a inch wide, looks kinda like the wave box ports, whats the formula to make those style ports? Thanks for the help J.D.
