I grounded it inside the truck that's connected to the body of the truck... Which has paint on it tho... The blue light on the amp turns on

Hey I just got a free amp and sub from a buddy... I went and bought the wiring and hooked it up outside the truck... Worked great.. So we unplugged it, wired it through it and hid the wires... Plugged it in and now everything works but the sub.... What could possibly gone wrong?
