    CDA-7998 IPod/Iphone w/ KCA-420i

    I currently own a an Alpine CDA-7998 and purchased the Alpine KCA-420i to interface with the HU. I am confused as I have read that you will have limited control to it will not work at all. Will this work or should I buy a new HU such as the Alpine CDA-9887? TIA
