if your headunit has an aux input u can plug the laptop's headphone jack into that...or if you dont have an aux input you probably have to get an auxilary input adapter...

if you made one sealed and one ported i am assuing there would be cancelation of some sort which is not good i.e. probably less output then you allready have. If you want SQL maked a ported box and tune that ish low

my boy had a tahoe with a mtx 9500 in it...it was louder with the sub facing the rear. However; if you dont have any sound deadening and your system is gonna be wangin hard if you face the subs upwards you wont get as much vibration noise well atleast not on the rear hatch so it will in turn...

yeah im my car i have some comps up front and the stock speakers in the rear the comps are run by dual monoblocks while the rear fill goes off the head unit...while by myself i turn the fader all the way towards the front but if i have passengers and am playing a song they really like i put it...

i just installed my brahma in my living room i think i was inspired by this thread...i have it in a 3 cube box tuned to i think 30 (i made the port wider then the original plans i dunno if that tunes it up or down) now that wouldn't seem like much (compared to what some of the people were talkin...

does that mean that its bad that i have an even smaller enclousure created with sound deadener in my car?

the way i understand it'll take alot more than 1600 watts to blow a brahma thermaly its the over excursion you have to watch out for, i put mine in a low tuned ported and it seemed to have less movement then in a sealed (then again i had a shop build the sealed so there may have been leaks) so...

i wish i had some **** tools so i could build a box for my stealth for my brahma its just sittin in the garage! pisses me off

if your talking a bout an alpine yeah mines hard to read somtimes in the daylighht but the amazing features make up for it plus mines on a weird angle and if that one is like mine then u can change the angle therefore reducing the glare

yeah if your speakers actually get 150 watts theyll scream and if your subs are in the trunk the components wil be plenty loud like reallly loud let me put it this way my speakers were getting just the "60 by 4" Of an alpine and they were prety much loud enough to go with a 1500bx on a brahma...

i'd say for the price of the woofer dont let 60 bux change your decision... go with whichever one u really want i bet the 15 will be a tad louder, maybe a lil deeper but there wont be a huge audible diferance

get a big *** 2000 watt amp and it will boom like so just watch the gains
