Yup, plannin on doin 0 to a distro then 4 to amps! Also he got the 10's a while ago and had best buy or circuit city install them. He said they charged him close to $300 to install the subs and a head unit!

Ok i see what your sayin...and yes both amps have an IN/OUT preamp outputs. After i thought about it for a little bit....its going to be easy. And he doesnt get the fact that the 12's will over power the 10's but hey...its not my car! im just the installer!

Ok I have a friend that wants to install a Kenwood KAC-9103D mono block amp with 2 Alpine type R's. He has 2 10's and an amp in there now (not sure what model or power) but he wants to add 2 12's. Before you guys get all pissy about adding 2 12's to a system that already has 2 10's. I told him...

Well thats not the problem...the battery was never completely dead...it started up just fine.....so I dont see how disconnecting the HU and charge the battery that was never dead will help anything...thanks for the help but I think we had different probs

I dont think its connected to anything.....the only thing that we changed was connecting the RCA's and the remote turn on wire.....Everything was fine before.....do you think I should try connecting the amp turn on to the power anntena....

wait your battery died???? could you start your car? We can start the car and everything but the cd player wont turn on....yes i did unhook the battery...both neg and pos

yep I have already done that.....do you think it has anything to do how the amp was hooked up (turn on wire) or how the amp is grounded?

Ok I installed the Head Unit about 3 weeks ago....the only special thing I had to do was to re-run all the wires because the 91 grand marquis had a factory amp....the head unit worked just fine until I unhooked it to install subs....I installed two 12's and now when I try to turn the head unit...
