ok... after looking at that eclipse .. the price point seems high .. is eclipse really that much better than say pioneer or alpine?

I'm a newbie when it comes to car stereos. I'm looking to replace my OEM stock radio in my 03 Protege. I was looking at an Eclipse 5435 or a Kenwood X789.... i'm also looking for other suggestions... Style is a minor factor but it MUST have or be able to have an AUX input. any suggestions...
