Martin... The 2x75 is at 4 ohms. When you decrease the resistence by dwiring the subs at 2 ohms you increase the power (Watts). That means essentially the subs are each getting about 150 watts RMS.

The amp was more than enough for the subs. They weren't as loud as some other types, but they sounded clean. I believe the installer said the the subs were getting about 300 watts RMS.
