Looking for a good alarm for a 1999 4Runner. Something simple, easy to install, but yet a very reliable and protective car alarm. Any tips would be great. Thanks

I don't think the sub is blown, and the wires are fine. The sub can handle 750 watts RMS, and the amp is only 600 watts max, and that's not even RMS. I can't see how I possible blew the sub.

I wired all my stuff up today, with a Rockford 600 watt 2 channel, into a single 10" Quantum sub. I turned it on, and it worked for about 10 minutes, then when I switched to my CD changer (alpine iPod hook up) it cut out. now, the amp shows the beat but it won't output to the sub?? Any help...

You know, I think a lot of installers have a good time. I had a guy install my deck with an iPod adapter, which he hadn't done before. He was actually excited about it and got creative with it. He also wanted me to come back to show him how everything worked. I'm sure there are people out there...

I have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner that I am upgrading the stereo on. I currently have an Alpine CDA-9827 in there. I just bought new 6 1/2" and 4" Pioneer speakers for the doors, and a 300W Pionner 4-channel amp. I was planning on just amping the door speakers and forget the sub, but I was wondering...
