Replaced both fuses already. That is how i set it up in the corolla but I can find a better spot fairly easily.  I will test at the battery when I get  a moment in a bit.

should have noted i already used multimeter confirmed that power is hot. edit to confirm i did this right. I touched positive red to power wire and touched black to car.
