Looking for a decent amp, something in the price range of $100-$400 range. It wont be permanent and will be upgraded eventually. Still pretty new with car audio and if anyone can point me in the right direction with the right gauge wire/brand of wire to use would help a lot!

The factory amp powers the trucks speakers not the sub if that is what your thinking. If you would suggest getting that replaced I have to hold off for a while. Need to get some bass in my truck first =). But if you know if there is an amp to replace it down the road I would like to know. Sent...

Powered front stage? Are you talking about powering the factory amp? A local shop said they have an adapter that would hook up to any aftermarket head unit but costs around $140.

I like the subs you suggested but i forgot to mention i need a single din head unit. Also if you know a good amp(s) to go with them would be cool. I'm not to familiar with pairing amps/subs yet.

The vehicle I'm going to be installing the system in is an 05 dodge ram 2500 Laramie. It has the stock infinity sound system in it, which requires a special adapter to power the stock amp when i install the aftermarket head unit (not sure what the adapter is called yet). I'm looking for 2 18...
