    THe chime and onstar signal are sent from the hu to the gmos to the bose amp to the speakers by god know how many wire, bypassing the bose amp will disable the entire system. I have a gmos-04 and thats how she works.

    I would like to do just that, however bypassing the BOSE amplifier will render my On-star, and my door chimes and fuel level warning chime disabled. I am trying to my best to keep these features.
