A better alternator never hurts

What seems to be the best 12" sub for burps off of about 1700 watts? I want to keep the cost at $250 per sub or less. Needs to be small box under 2.25 cft each if possible.

I searched and found 1 thread that said a stinger 1700 was .5 db better. You had bad luck with yours however.
