    I have a memphis audio 16-PR1X1000 AMP 1000 watt @1ohm powering a RE *** dvc2 sub 600 watts rms. I wired the sub parallel and set the voltage @ 24.4 with a 50 hz @0db tone @ 3/4 volume.When i turn the volume past 3/4 the amp goes into protect mode.Is this normal?

    my amp is a monoblock 1000 w at 1 ohm my sub is 600 w rms dvc 2 ohm wired parallel should my sub output voltage with 50 hz tone at 3/4 volume be 24.4 or 31.6

    i currently have a 12'' sub in a ported box . i drive a ford ranger extended cab ,space is a little tight , rap music ,sub sound somewhere in the middle thanks for your reply
