yup, really no point other than i think it would be nice to do sitting around the car or talking by it be able to turn it on and get some tunes

not sure what brand starter it is it came on the car when i bought it, the car is a 97 ford taurus i dont usually start up the car with it other than when im walking to it since i have to park it about 1km away i just think it would be cool to be walking out and have it start along with the system

I have a remote starter installed in my car right now. However when i start my car its just the engine that runs. I was wondering if it would be possible (and safe) to some how change it so my stereo also starts when i start the car with the remote. thanks for any help

Finally got it working, did some more wiring stuff and the ground came out when i moved the box back thanks for all the help

amp turns on checked with a dmm everythings getting power (and subs will work if i switch the rcas out of the component amp into the sub amp) and everything was just rewired grounds are good i know for sure, i had it professionally rewired last night and the distro block put in remote wire is...

what about just using velcro tape so you can easily take it out later if you want

sorry if I wasnt clear im fairly new to this stuff. The rca`s are good i swapped them (I have 2 sets one for component one for sub) and after i swapped them the component amp was still powering the speakers fine. Amp turns on and is getting power, I checked with the dmm everything in the backs...

ok so i put in the power distribution block wired everything up checked for power no problems go to check it out, turn on my system and same problem as before. Im not getting anything from my subs. I tried switching the RCAs and same problem. I plugged the RCAs that run to the component amp...

im positive its 8g i tried to hook it up without the distro box and i was getting nothing im really boggled why its not working... any suggestions or should i just take it in somewhere and have them look at it and get the distro box (im fairly new to systems so im still learning as i go)...

its 8 gauge i believe and when i originally set it up i couldnt get the distro block, will it make a difference or just be cleaner and more simple to work with
