Well doing some reading now, it looks like it may be a "reverse" function that is turned on. Just walked out to my truck to disable it. I guess when I ride around later I will see it that, in fact, took care of the problem... Although, the "electrical whine" is still there...

Having a random problem with my Pioneer DEH-510UB. Looks like I am going to send it back and swap it out for another but I thought I would check here as well. Randomly, the display will get extremely bright for about 3 seconds and then go back to "normal" after that. It happens at random times...
