Well, u have lots of power for these subs. This is good. Power = Control. Because of this you can get away with sealing them. Usually if you want big SPL go ported but the box is much bigger and you can't play it too loud lower than its tuned freq. Ported is also better if you lack power...

U going for sq or spl? These drives rock but don't port them if you have gobs of power. They will self distruct. Ported is great for spl but sealed is beter for sq. It also depends on what kind of space you have to play with.

Hay! Thanx for the advice. Im installing 2 Kicker S12L5's into a 90 celica. I've got my max/min air space to work with and a basic box desighn. Small and seald. This guy has a single 1400 R.M.S. chanel to run them. I was wondering... What is the advantages or dis-advantages of 2 subs in one...
