Making sealed box for IDQ V2 D2, need some help :)

I doubt you will hear the difference between .96 and .98, but since you're making your own box, might as well get it as accurate as you can.

Wow. That is a lot of matting! I don't envy you putting all that shit down. Hopefully that thing is as smooth as a Caddy after all that.

Enclosure build for Frequentflyers Hertz hx300d

Looks perfect man! I know it's nothing compared to most of the stuff you build, but it works for me. Thanks!

    which set of components

Whether someone is "pushing" something or not doesn't mean one sounds better than the other. You really should go find local dealers that carry the speakers you want or find a car audio show in your area and listen to them yourself. You can listen to people all day long here tell you the ID's...

    1 AMP: Unrealistic?

With 1 IDQ10, I think you'd be fine unless you play your music really LOUD.

Suggest a High SQ Front Stage Amps

How much are you willing to spend? There are a wide range of "very clean" amps depending on how much you want to spend. I'd recommend an ARC KS300.2. You can get one of those from anywhere between $320 and $400 depending on whether you go unauthorized/authorized sales.

    Building my first system

I would also stay away from 6x8's. Get some adapter plates (or make them) and use a good 6.5" component system. I'm not familiar with the Town Car, but you may even be able to fit a 6.75 or a 7" in there.

    8" subs in doors

You're better off keeping the sub in the trunk. You'll never get the amount of bass out of the doors you would with a dedicated enclosure because it's hard to seal the doors completely. Do you have room in your passenger side footwell or near the pick panel? You may be able to build an...

Image Dynamics CTX65CS --- AMP Question --- How much power can they handle!

Do you need a 4 channel amp? Why bridge it if you can just get a powerful two channel amp? I'd recommend the ARC KS300.2. It's 180w RMS x 2 at 4 ohm. Those components will be happy with that power.

    Best 12" 500-600 watt?

I didn't see any suggestion on IDQv3's? I'd have to throw them in the mix too.

    JL 300/2v2 and 500/1v2 or HD600/4

I'm looking to run a set of ID CXS62's and 1 IDQ10v3 (possibly a 12, but looks like a 10 due to space constraints). I was planning on doing the 300/2 and 500/1, but I'm looking at $1100 worth of amps that way vs. $800 for the HD600. What would I be losing? 200 watts and a dedicated sub amp by...
