so to make sure im right, i connect both positive coils together and run that to the positive terminal on the amp - then i do the same with the negative, wire the coils together then connect that to the negative on the same channel which would be a 4ohm load correct? or what if i wired the sub...

im aware i would never get the max rating lol i was just trying to get as much power out of that amp as possible. why the remark about the fire lol, from what i thought i knew that sub should be fine at 2ohm as well as the amp is capable at a 2ohm load right. I bought this amp from craigslist...
