I drive an extended cab f150. No backseat. With a RE XXX 15" running 2000RMS, what type of box should i make for more spl, ported sub forward port up, sub up port up, sealed? And if ported, what box size and tune with port size amd i looking to make?

RE audio has some great subs. I have an older RE HC 15 D2 that pounded on 2000 RMS, and now i have an RE XXX 15 D2 on the way on 2500 RMS. You wont be dissappointed

As for the USB support of the 8600 you have to buy the adapter for the IPBUS , and for selecting tracks if you turn the knob, find the track name and press in to select the track. You are correct in having to press right to skip to next track. Then again i use the remote so i can just lean back...

I really depends on if your going for SQ or SPL. And really its going to come down to money you want to spend. You can get 2 low end 15's for that kinda money, or one 15 that will give you better SQ and give you the nice low bass tones (my fav.). But what ever you get, your going to need the amp...
