so if I have a regular battery under the hood would you put a high performance battery in the back or in the front?

I am having the same issues with my 92 civic. I odnt want any other system, i want mine that is 1500 watts rms. So aside from upgrading the wiring and alternator I need to get my ECU reprogrammed? Do i just do this at a honda mechanic or any average mechanic? what parts will I need to do this...

I didnt do the ground properly because its not on bare metal. there is paint under it. I am going to do the big 3 , just wanted to know also is it ok if I ground the amp with 0 gauge and have 4 gauge power wire?

I am having a similar problem with my system, what gauge wire are you using? have you done the big 3 upgrade yet? check your ground wire and make sure its done good

yeah the amp does go into protect mode, mabye I need to try grounding it better. my amp can hold 0 gauge wire also. Im going to try grounding it better and see what happens.

also I just found out that my alternator is rated to 70 amps. is this too small? mabye i NEED an upgrade?

alright, so there will be 2 power cables running from my 2nd battery. 1st one on the positive to the amp, 2nd from positive to front battery postive. does that mean I shouldnt upgrade my alternator?
