im considering buying a 1200 watt 4 channel amp its rms at 4 ohms is 110 x 4. the problem is that two of the mid speakers that i already have are 4 ohm with 70watts max and 35rms. so im guessing that with this amount of power (110) going to the speakers (70/35) would damage them. is there...

given the diagram on the link does it have to be wired like that? im asking because i have two subs, two speakers, and a 2 channel amp. i was just hoping to splice one speaker with one sub and the other speaker spliced with the other sub (simplicity).

would it be ok to splice a speaker with a sub going into an amp? im just wondring because im worried that itll push too much low frequency to the speaker...

well while i was waiting for a reply i just went out and bridged the amp (amp to 1st sub, 1st sub to second) and flicked this switch from stereo to mono on the amp. they hit harder now and it seemed to work finw but from what you said, should i undo this due to risk of blowing my amp?
