Ditto. I can attest to the efficiency. 400w RMS to a Koda10 in a sealed box with the gains turned down should be fine. However, I wouldn't recommend 400w RMS if you had it in a ported box. I have mine in a super efficient box right now, and 200w RMS is already making it pretty d@mn loud and...

Well, at the moment, my Koda10 is good enough for everyday driving. I have a weak stock electrical system to work with, so I had to go with a small amp, a very efficient box, and a good woofer that is easy to drive. Like I said, it is definitely not an SPL sub and it can't do hair tricks. But...

I agree..The Koda10 would be better as a midbass driver in a sealed box. As for the sound...like I mentioned earlier, when realmofexcursion compresses my original files, the audio and video quality gets degraded. My original video window size is also twice as large. Oh well...
