Even if the amp power light is on, it might not be getting the full 12+ volts. Same thing happened to me. It needs 12 volts to push the sub.

What do you mean by "won't be enough"? I've decided on these. http://www.mpyreaudio.com/65x0.htm The guy who designed it is the guy who sells the subs, and he says it works well, as long as it's STUFFED with polyfill. BTW, what's polyfill?

I'm going to install this into the footwell of my 1991 Miata, and there are going to be 2 6.5" subs in it. Would it be a good idea to port this box? If so, how, how big, and where would thee port be? Each sub needs .25 cu ft, and the box itself is .249 cu ft...
