    Is my subwoofer blown?

That still wouldn't be enough to power the subs at a constant rate without the amp overpowering itself trying to produce that power right? Would that be why my battery level drops when the bass hits hard?

    Is my subwoofer blown?

The reason I was going to buy a new amp before trying to figure out the problem was because the amp is only 160 watts at 4 omhs. Im not good at math but 275+275=550 and 550 is greater than 160. lol

    Is my subwoofer blown?

I have a 2001 Firebird. and a JBL Grand Touring Series GTO601.1 II amp. I used a 8gauge wire. My lights don't dim it's just my battery meter that goes with bass when up high. my amp is grounded at one of my tie downs in the back. (paint was removed first)

Do i need a new amp? One side of car speakers working HELPP

Ok i just went to go check my car. The RCA cables are plugged into the head unit ran through my car to the back of the amp RCA INPUT. The RCA cable has a built in turn on lead as well, don't know if that matters. Those are the only wires that connect the amp with the head unit. BUT when he was...
