When you say speakers, what exactly do you mean? What would I look for?

I would agree with that, but the shop that installed the HU used a wiring harness. wouldn't that take care of that mistake?

The problem for me is when the car is off for a while, I will notice that the display is still lit.

How could I check for this? Stupid question maybe, but what exactly is speaker wire grounding out?? Thanks
