Could A Box Ruin A Sub

Stupider? That's a solid grade 2 education there buddy. And with that entire post, just goes to show up completely ignorant you are. Everybody always says "GO CHECK THE MANUFACTURER'S SITE" so I did and guess what it said *******? SEALED. So I post in here asking if that's a **** up and get...

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

I understand that. You know what, forget it. No one is even on topic anymore. I'll go ask this question on another site.

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

Holy, ****, I swear to god people on here are ****ing stupid. I KNOW WHAT A ****ING PORT IS. You go to the bassworx site and it says the box WHICH HAS A PORT, is sealed. http://www.bassworx.com/productpage/SeriesSWPenc.html Just incase you are too ****ing lazy to check the link out as it...

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

Yes I own it. The reason there is confusion is because I know the box is ported, but when you go to the bassworx site for the swp12b, it says it's sealed. You look the same thing up on google and it says wedge ported sealed box. So what the hell is this ****ing thing? Sealed or ported?

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

If the box is classified as a sealed box, what is the point of the wedge? I thought that that would then make it a ported box. With the box being classified as a sealed box, what exactly do I need to worry about with it being prefab?

    What part don't you understand?

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

If I knew my answer I wouldn't be asking. If it's sealed, being that it's wedge sealed, what do I have to worry about as being sealed there's less to go wrong right? Also, if it is sealed, what's the point of the wedge?

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

Ya buddy let's try that? Why bother posting with BS like that? Save us both some time next time and just skip over my posts. Anyways, here is a link to the box. http://www.bassworx.com/productpage/SeriesSWPenc.html It's the swp12b. It says that it's wedge sealed? Does that mean it's still a...

Could A Box Ruin A Sub

I have a set of prefab Bassworx boxes and I was thinking of putting them in now that a few things in my system have changed. My question is is do I have to worry about the boxes maybe screwing up my subs? I know they more than likely won't be tuned like I like them to be, but I'm still willing...

    Need Help With Deck Settings

Couldn't tell you my friend. I'll have to go play with the amp itself I think as I know theres some subsonic filter or something on it that may be on. I'll play with that option as well as the frequencies on the amp itself.

    Amp Settings

I'm new to the site so I'm sorry if this has been asked many times before, but I like to ask sites like this their opinion on this subject. How do you feel about setting gains on amps? Are you all believers in using the gain setting by ear as more of an output volume control, or more using...

    Need Help With Deck Settings

I may need help with amp settings as well. I just got the Pioneer DEH4900 and am having a hell of a time tuning it. There is a EQ option for Lows, Mids, and Highs. When I play with the low's I obviously get more output out of my subs, but am I to believe that that's the only option to set...

    Deck Settings

I recently upgraded to a Pioneer DEH P4900IB HU and I'm having an issue which I hope someone here can help with. On songs like "Bia Bia" where the tone of the bass is actually rather high, I'm not getting anything close to the output I was on my previous deck which had pretty much no settings...

    Need Help With Box

Ok I have to go into detail on this one as it's a long story. I have two 12"Kicker CVR's which when first purchased where in a sealed box. They sounded fine, but I felt there was more to be had from the output on them so I decided to go ported. I drive a 95 Mustang and anyone know has worked...
