    Alpine V-Drive Power

    I am soon purchasing an Alpine HU, either the 7893 or 7894, and I was wondering if the V-Drive amp has enough juice to power a pair of 5 1/4" components? Im looking to get Alpine's Type R components which handle 40W RMS. Anybody have their compnents hooked up to their Alpine HU?????

    Alpine Bass Engine

    What is the Bass Engine feature on Alpine HU's?? I plan on buying an Alpine HU and a JBL BP1200.1 to push my 12" Perfect. Will I be able to use the Bass Engine features on the JBL amp?? Could somebody please explain this to me?
